Goodbye Rev!!
When Metro Delivery merged with ParaTransit in 2001, the most valuable thing we acquired wasn’t a client or a vehicle. It was a manager. Sebastian Wreford has been an unsurpassed resource when it comes to all of our needs, including art, sales, and most importantly being a center of stability whenever things become chaotic. Over his time here he has been the heart of our company, an avuncular figure who gives advice to anyone who asks. I’ve personally learned more lessons about work, management, and life in general from him than anyone else I’ve worked with.
Thank you Sebastian for all of your calm wisdom in wild times. Thank you for making this office a bright and colorful place full of art, soul, and one of the craziest assortments of musical taste that I’ve ever had fill my ears. Thank you for performing my wedding, and those of so many others of the staff. Thank you for years of hard lessons with a laid back attitude.
From all of us here at Metro: Thank You and Good Luck! Food Gatherers won the lottery and all of the people of our area are going to be better off because of it.
Coming Up SUNDAY June 9 : GRILLIN’ for Food Gatherers!
We’re all really looking forward to the annual Food Gatherers’ GRILLIN’ Fiesta Sunday June 9, featuring live music, delicious sausages, and a plethora of delightful diversions. It’s one of our favorite springtime events!
PLUS, as they say, “proceeds from Grillin’ enable Food Gatherers to distribute more than 5.75 million pounds of food annually to 150 non-profit programs serving people in need in Washtenaw County.”
It’s win-win, + BBQ.
Metro Delivery is honored to be officially noted by Food Gatherers as a MIGHTY CARROT PATRON this year for our continued support.
We’re lucky to be in a region where we have such a great local organization to support- just LOOK at their rating on Charity Navigator!
Get your Tickets! See you there!
Metro Delivery Will Take Your Food and Toys
…and we’ll give the food to Food Gatherers and the Toys to Toys for Tots!
We donate our delivery services and do a Holiday company donation drive for both excellent organizations, and we’ll see that they get any toys or food you want to hand off to our Couriers, whenever you see them, during the holiday season!

Food Gatherers Awards Metro Delivery as “One of a Kind”
Food Gatherers of Ann Arbor named Metro Delivery “One of a Kind Gatherer” at its annual awards ceremony for 2011.
Metro managers John Rabideau and Sebastian Wreford were on hand at the April event to accept the Motawi Tile plaque pictured below for providing free delivery of foods donated to eliminate hunger in Washtenaw County.
“FoodGatherers are a terrific organization, and so friendly. We’re always glad to help out.” said Sebastian Wreford.
Mr. Rabideau accepts the Award for Metro Delivery
We deeply appreciate being able to assist Food Gatherers in their valuable work in the area.
